Helix piercing: Helix Piercing are cartilage piercings usually done along the upper ear. This piercing is performed using a small gauge piercing needle and often does not include any pain because there are no nerve endings in this area. Forward Helix piercing: It is similar to regular helix piercing, but lower, near to the helix. Although forward helix piercing can be used with a variety of jewellery or even incorporated into an industrial piercing style. Common forward helix jewellery trends include studs, for the most part. Industrial Piercing: Industrial piercing involves a pair of piercings, using a single barbell piece of jewellery. In industrial piercing, one piercing is in the forward-helix area, and other is on the opposite side of the ear.
Snug Piercing: Snug piercing is one of the most distinctive ear piercings, as it’s located in quite a shallow area, through the inner cartilage part-way down the ear’s outer rim, just above the anti-tragus.
Rook piercing: It can be considered as sort of a cousin of the snug piercing. It’s vertically oriented and found above the tragus on the ridge separating the inner and outer conch. This piercing looks cool with either curved barbells or captive bead rings .

Conch Piercing: This cartilage piercing can either be the inner or outer variety. A lot of conch piercings cover both areas and use a captive bead ring for an eye- catching look. The name of the piercing comes from this part of the ear’s resemblance to conch shells commonly found on coastlines.
Orbital Piercing: They are technically any two piercings that are linked together with one piece of jewellery. Orbital piercing is particularly prevalent in the helix area or anti-helix.
Tragus Piercing: The tragus is the part of your ear, right in front of your ear canal. This piercing can be more or less difficult depending on the thickness and size of your tragus.
Anti-tragus piercing: They are cartilage piercings located just above where traditional lobe piercing is done. It is similar to tragus piercing in terms of characteristics and healing time.

Traverse Lobe Piercing: It is a new twist on an old classic. With transverse lobe piercings, a barbell is used to go horizontally through the earlobe or from the outside to inside. This one is highly subject to the shape and size of the earlobe.
Daith Piercing: Performed by seasoned professionals through the inner cartilage fold of the ear, most opt for captive bead rings or curved barbell jewellery . Some consider this piercing as a remedy for migraines.
Auricle Piercing: Also known as rim piercing, Auricle piercing is performed on the rim of the cartilage near the outside of the ear. Embellishing it with silver rings is an excellent way of having fun with your auricles.
Dermal Piercing: This kind of ear piercing is a small visible point on the surface of the skin. The real piercing will go inwards from the tragus.
